Why I Plan Outfits for the Week

Why I Plan Outfits for the Week

Every Sunday evening I take some times to plan my outfits out for the week.  Not only for the work week but sometimes for the weekend too if I know something is coming up. I have a few reasons why I love to do this.

1.It makes mornings so much quicker. As a teacher I have to get up and  get going into the classroom in the morning. I don’t have lots of time to spend in the morning deciding what to wear for the day.

2. Eliminates stress. I don’t know about you but I definitely do not need or want any extra stress added into my life and  deciding what to wear is most definitely a stress I don’t want. Having it already planned eliminates that immediately.

3. Eliminates the I have nothing to wear. Most of the time when you stress in the morning about what to wear you aren’t loving what’s going on with your wardrobe. Planning it out means you are putting together outfits that you love and  feel good in

4. Makes sure you are utilizing your whole wardrobe. As the above one sometimes when you wear the same thing over and  over you feel eh about your wardrobe. However, you might be missing out on parts of your wardrobe you either can’t see or forget about and  therefore are utilized.

5. Makes sure you feel your best everyday. As you wear more and  more of your outfits and  plan them out you aren’t rushing so you don’t accidentally throw on something that doesn’t match but then you’re stuck with. You learn what you feel your best in and  can plan outfits out that you love and  feel great about.

So on Sundays I look at the weather for the upcoming week and on my notes app on my phone I create outfits by day including shoes and  any other accessories. Yes I’m aware the weather may change and  if I see big changes within the week then I just make changes to my outfit plan.
