Just the last few days of school to go! Wahoo! This month’s book club book was The Jetsetters by Amanda Ward.
Getting a 3/5 on review websites, I would totally agree.
The storyline of this book is actually quite interesting with the mother wanting to reconnect with her estranged kids on a cruise. However, the story and the characters themselves were very interesting overall.
It seemed like everyone in the story had a drastic problem and although we each have our own problems in life. It seemed too much for each of the characters to handle and I just didn’t like how dramatized everything was. It seemed like a play where emotions are overdrawn rather than real life.
I give this book 3/5 stars.
