I decided what better way to celebrate October with cooler weather and a spooky season than to read a mystery book! Granted this book is definitely for young adults, but as I explained on stories earlier this month I tend to read more YA literature because I teach middle schoolers.
I did not have any experience with this book series or this author and I was very pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it. It was very suspenseful and would be a great family read-a-loud as well. I plan to read more of the series later!
My most favorite line of the book “It says Cordelia Rose performed exclusively in New York, she never left”. You’ll have to read the book to find out why this line is so interesting and how it contributes to the book.
