Welcome to The Book Club! I’ve always loved reading and was an avid reader growing up. Now that I am studying to become a Language Arts Teacher, I want to pass my love of reading on to others. During my LA methods teaching class, I got to read a book by Donalyn Miller called the Book Whisperer. Miller is such a good language arts teacher. Her secret is just to have her students read what they like and learn about the concepts through their own book.
So that is what The Book Club is for, each month we will read a book together. It might be something totally out of your comfort zone and that’s okay! You might find that you’ve found a new favorite! I am always taking suggestions on my Instagram of new books to add to my reading list! Feel free to drop a suggestion in the comments on any post. You never know it might end up in The Book Club!
(Note I release the book I am reading at the end of the month and then you have most of the next month to read it. Book Club will occur on the 4th Monday of every month)
