Resolutions

Happy New Year to you all!! As much time as we spent at home this year it sure went by pretty fast. While scrolling through Pinterest I found a really cool Resolution template from 2019. I decided to adapt it as it asked about Travel (hello COVID). This year will be a big year for me and  I can’t wait to share it with all of you!

I want to stop: letting things get out of hand quickly. Often times I let things pile on and  pile on all for me to feel very overwhelmed later when everything comes to a head. No more of that I will keep working on time management and  tackling projects and  assignments as they come.

I want to try: Something I’ve been wanting to try is to listen to podcasts. I created a list of a handful of podcasts that I wanted to begin listening to. Stay tuned at the end of March for my review of these podcasts.

I want to learn: how to best take care of myself (body) and  my mental health this year and  for the future to make sure that I am taking time for myself and not to over-schedule myself.

I want to continue to: trust and  lean on God. He has really helped me through this crazy year and  I want to continue to bring my worries, fears, and doubts to Him.

I want to have: When I was thinking about these I wasn’t really sure what to say here because I felt like I am blessed to have all that I need. Then I decided to look at it differently. So I decided that I want to have enough courage to do everything I want to do and  I want to have the ability to take risks and  not let anxiety and  worry hold me back.

I want to be: With student teaching and  graduating this year, I want to be a role model for my students and  someone that inspires them to be their best selves during another interesting school semester.
