Okay so first two flashbacks. One to my Q&A which if you missed that you can read it here. There I talked about how I like purple. Second is to the Aveeno Face Wash which if you missed that check here. There I talked about how my face is sensitive. Today I am talking about my make-up bag. It is Tartan + Twine and I got it last year from Ulta. Although they don’t carry this color anymore, they do have ivory and grey ones which I love too.
If you know me, then you know that I really don’t wear much make-up. However, when I travel I do take this make-up bag with me cause I tend to wear more make-up on vacation. Anyone else do this?
Anyway remember when I said flashback to the Aveeno Face Wash and said my face is very sensitive. I do not use make-up wipes to remove make-up. I tried them once and it caused me to break out in a rash and become itchy all over my face, literally a nightmare. For awhile I just washed my make-up off with water or in the shower. I didn’t even know what Micellar water was before I tried it. I ended up getting a Face tester box from Ulta with a purchase I had made and it had a travel size Micellar water in it. I used it and it did not cause any skin irritation at all. I bought a bigger one and now it is all I use.
Next is a eye shadow brush. Like I said above, I don’t wear a whole lot of make-up, but I love this brush super easy to use and blend eye shadow.
Although most of the time I use a clear lip gloss in my smaller make-up that goes to school with me, I like this pink color as well. Dresses up an outfit a little more. I like this NYX Butter Gloss. They are out of the Strawberry Parfait, but I tagged the Strawberry Cheesecake which is very similar.
I got this Too Faced Palette as a gift and I have been using it. It has more natural colors in it which I really like. As I said before I don’t wear make-up very often so it is really nice to receive make-up as a gift because I honestly wouldn’t really know what to buy.
