Amazing Oils

So we’ve talked about clean beauty and beauty acids. Now let’s talk about oils! Oils can be great for your skin, but just like every other beauty product some are better for the type of skin you have than others. So please do your research! If you have oily skin you don’t necessary need to add more oils to your skin and different oils have different benefits just like beauty acids. In many of these oils you might recognize things that you eat within your diet! This is because these that are good for you are also good for your skin!

First let’s talk about Oils that are good for anti-aging. If you are looking for anti-aging benefits look for these types of oils in your beauty products especially serums.

1. Argan Oil (boost of fatty acids)
2. Acai Oil (protects the skin from harmful free radicals)
3. Flaxxseed Oil (softens the skin)
4. Sea-buckthorn Oil (rich in omegas 3, 6,7) (found in my favorite beauty company Lumene products)

Next up is Oils that are good for moisturizing. These oils are not good for people who have naturally oily skin, they are however good for people with dry or severely dry skin.

1. Olive Oil (love to use this in body scrubs)
2. Coconut Oil (reduces skin bacteria)
3. Brazilian Nut Oil (extra boost of antioxidants)
4. Avocado Oil (great for a boost of Vitamin E)

The next one is Oils used for problem-solving. Most often if you have a skin problem or issue you are looking to help out these oils can help out.

1. Tea Tree Oil (helps fight acne)
2. Rose Hip Seed Oil (helps reduce scars and their appearance)
3. Grape Seed Oil (regulates oily skin to natural levels)
4. Peppermint Oil (reduces redness)

Finally the last group of oils I am going to discuss is ones that calm and repair skin.

1. Chamomile Oil (anti-inflammatory and fight off infection)
2. Black Current Oil (anti-inflammatory)
3. Evening Primrose Oil ( treat eczema)
4. Carrot Seed Oil ( helps skin cell turnover and soothe the skin)

I hope this post helps you find oils that can greatly benefit your skin! Remember do your research and consult with a dermatologist if need be.
