If you loved Wonder you will also love this book by the same author! As stated on the back White Bird is Julian’s story from Wonder (the bully).
This book is actually a graphic novel and it was one of the first times I’ve ever read a graphic novel. Highly recommend if you need a quick read.
I give this book a 10/10. It was very enjoyable probably because it was historical fiction. Without trying to give too much away it is featured around the Holocaust. This book is great also because it has the surrounding theme of kindness and what one small act of kindness can do for someone.
It was even so great that I bought a copy for my classroom library and four students have already read the book per my recommendation! All who have read say they really like it and since I only have one copy many are diligently waiting for it to be their turn.
